However, this age-old practice referenced in ancient texts of Ayurveda is now supported by many. They had observed that copper was good material for storing water and realised the natural health benefits of drinking water stored in copper vessels. It was also observed that animals drinking from copper vessels and plants watered with copper-rich water were healthier than those that didn’t.
